Cajun Crawfish Burgers! I’ve been wanting to make this recipe for a while and used the same method I do for my shrimp burgers. It came out even better than I expected! Perfect for Lent or if you have some extra crawfish tails left over after a boil.
1. Finely chop the crawfish tails until they’re almost like a ground meat consistency. A sharp knife works best, just keep running through them until they’re very small!
2. In a bowl combine the chopped crawfish, bell pepper, green onions, egg, crushed Ritz crackers, Britscookin’ Cajun seasoning, black pepper, and garlic powder.
3. Mix everything together until well combined.
4. Form into patties
5. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
6. Cook patties about 3 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through.
7. Once done, cover with a lid and let them rest for a minute while you make the sauce.
8. In a small bowl mix mayo, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, and a pinch of Cajun seasoning.
9. Toast brioche buns, then build your burger with bib lettuce, the crawfish patty, and a spoonful of sauce!
10. Add the top bun and serve with chips.
