A classic comfort food dish made from scratch, featuring ground beef, elbow noodles, a savory tomato sauce, and plenty of sharp cheddar cheese. Perfect for a quick and easy weeknight dinner.
1. In a large pot, brown your ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess grease if needed.
2. Add diced onion and cook until softened.
3. Stir in seasonings: tomato bouillon, Garlic & Herb, garlic powder, and chili powder. Mix well.
4. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
5. Stir in tomato paste and let it cook for 2–3 minutes to deepen the flavor.
6. Pour in beef broth and bring to a boil.
7. Add elbow noodles, reduce heat to a simmer, and cook uncovered. Stir every couple minutes so nothing sticks.
8. Once noodles are tender and most of the liquid is absorbed, stir in freshly shredded cheddar cheese.
9. Add a splash of heavy cream for extra creaminess!
10. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
