Meat Lovers Chili!! 🌶️ 🥣 ✨ Ingredients • 1 lb chopped bacon 2lbs chuck roast • 2 lbs lean ground beef • 1 diced jalapeño • 1 diced onion • 1 large bell pepper, diced • 2 tbsp minced garlic • 4–5 diced chipotle peppers • 1 tbsp Britscookin Cajun Seasoning • 3 tbsp chili powder • 1 tbsp Britscookin Garlic & Herb • ½ tbsp cumin • 1 tbsp onion powder • 1 tbsp garlic powder • 2 tbsp sugar • 1 can (14 oz) fire-roasted tomatoes • 1 can (14 oz) tomato sauce • 12 oz beer or beef broth • 2 bay leaves Directions 1. Start by cooking bacon in a Dutch oven. Once crispy, remove it but keep the grease in the pot. 2. Add chuck roast, ground beef, and Cajun seasoning. Brown the meat, then add veggies — cook until onions are translucent. Add garlic, spices, chipotle peppers, fire-roasted tomatoes, tomato sauce, beer/broth, bay leaves, and return bacon to the pot. 3. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce to low and let it cook for 15–20 minutes. Lower heat and simmer at least 2 hours for best results. I prefer to let mine cook for 4–6 hours. The longer it cooks, the better it will taste! 4. Add more broth or beer if you prefer a soupier consistency. Serve with your favorite sides and toppings (Fritos, cheese, sour cream, green onions) and enjoy! #chili #yum #cozy #foodie #comfortfood
