Sausage, Egg & Cheese Sliders with Breakfast Sauce
20 mins prepServes 6
A delightful tray of sausage, egg, and cheese sliders, perfect for breakfast or brunch, featuring fluffy eggs, savory sausage, melted cheese, and a tangy homemade breakfast sauce, all served on Hawaiian rolls.
1. Press sausage into one large rectangle on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake at 375°F for 12–15 minutes, then blot grease and cut into squares.
2. Melt butter in a skillet over low heat. Whisk eggs with a splash of cream, then gently push them around the pan until soft and glossy. Remove from heat.
3. In a small bowl, whisk together all breakfast sauce ingredients. Chill until ready to use.
4. Slice rolls in half (keeping them connected). Place bottoms in a greased baking dish and spread a layer of sauce.
5. Layer sausage, eggs, cheese, and chives. Add the top rolls.
6. Brush with melted butter + garlic powder. Cover with foil and bake at 350°F for 10 minutes. Uncover and bake 5 more until golden and melty.
7. Slice and serve warm with extra sauce for dipping — and of course, a hot cup of @communitycoffee !
