Sausage Egg & Cheese STUFFED French Toast! ☀️☕️ Recipe: -2 packages @KingsHawaiian original sweet rolls. -1lb breakfast sausage (browned) -4 eggs (scrambled) -1 cup shredded cheddar cheese French toast batter: -3/4 cup milk OR vanilla coffee creamer -2 eggs -1/2 tsp cinnamon -splash of vanilla extract Directions: Combine sausage egg and cheese into a mixing bowl. Remove the top of each roll in a circular motion, similar to cutting a lid. Then, use your knife to carefully hollow out the inside, leaving a border around the edges. Fill each roll with a generous portion of the sausage mixture then replace the top. Dip each roll into the French toast batter making sure to coat all sides. Cook on a lightly greased nonstick skillet on a medium heat. Brown all sides then dust with powdered sugar! Notes: The filling keeps well in the fridge, I make these for breakfast during the school week so having it already made makes it easy! I just pop the sausage mixture in the microwave for a minute then follow the directions as listed!
